Where is Hull?

Hull, officially known as Kingston upon Hull, is a port city located in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It sits on the River Hull at its confluence with the Humber Estuary, making it a significant maritime city.

There are regular services to destinations like London Kings Cross, Manchester, Leeds, and Sheffield, operated mainly by Hull Trains and TransPennine Express. The station also facilitates local train services connecting Hull to nearby towns and villages.

Car: The M62 motorway is the primary route connecting Hull to the rest of the UK. It links Hull directly to cities like Leeds and Manchester and further connects to the M1, serving destinations further south. The A63 road runs through the city and links it directly to the M62.

Air: While Hull doesn’t have its own international airport, the Humberside Airport is located nearby (approximately 20 miles south of Hull). It provides both domestic and limited international flights. For a larger selection of international flights, passengers might also consider using Leeds Bradford Airport or Doncaster Sheffield Airport, both of which are within a reasonable driving distance from Hull.
