- This post will provide an opportunity for the candidate gain experience with all the laboratory, clinical and infection control aspects of microbiology.
- The post-holder will be expected to take part in audit and other clinical governance activities.
- The post holder will be provided with a clinical supervisor who will help him/her to work towards any educational goal that he/she may have, for example FRCPath Microbiology.
- A consultant will act as educational support for the post-holder and provide support for educational activities within the trust framework.
- Visa sponsorship is available.
- CESR support is available for those interested.
- This position can be offered on either a substantive basis (for eligible candidates) or on an initial 1-year fixed-term contract.
Applicants Must Have
- GMC registration, or be in the process of registering with the GMC.
- FRCPath or equivalent.
